DESCRIPTION:
1972 Hurst/Olds Hard Top - Original W-45 Car. VIN# 3J57UM196999 Car recently had a Restoration....in 2 New Paint and Correct Reflective Gold Striping...along with all other correct decals. NON-Sunroof Car Numbers Matching 455 Motor with only 5,000 miles since restoration. Original Exhaust Manifods removed...and headers are currently installed on the car. 8 Track radio does not work. Car runs and drives great....and currently is showing 520 miles....but is 100,520 total miles. Does NOT have the vinyl top installed. Have been trying to find someone who can re-produce the original top material. Rear window trim not installed...was waiting for vinyl top to be installed...but trim comes with the car. ADDED 10-13-13The A/C in the car is currently not connected. The Compressor is there and connected. The previous owner didnt re-connect the A/C and I never had a need for it so I didnt connect it either. In order to get it working, the belt would need to be installed, the line from the Thermal Expansion Valve to the Condenser would need to be installed, and the system would need to be charged. Also.....the Heater Core is not connected. The previous owner during restoration just installed a piece of hose from the input to the output. I never had a need for A/C or Heat.....so I never connected them. The blower fan does work.Lastly - there is a paint chip on the front passenger side fender on top by where the hood and fender meet. When the car was painted, they installed the hood which already had the stainless hood trim piece installed. They shut the hood after they installed it on the hinges...and before actually making any adjustments, they opened the hood and the stainless trim piece rubbed on the fender....causing a small paint chip. I have attached a picture.I will have this chip fixed at my cost....and have the rear window trim installed at my cost before the car leaves to the new owner. Its apparent that the original top material doesnt exist as I have been looking for a few years now, so I will have the trim installed and the H/O badges will also be installed on the sail panels. ADDED 10-20-13I had the paint shop mix up a bottle of touch up paint using the original paint for the car, I have some left that will go with the car, and touched up the minor chip so that is now fixed. Since I found some top material, I am going to leave the rear window trim off - the new owner of the car can either have the vinyl top installed and then install the window trim along with the H/O badges for the sail panels.Numerous people keep asking about the condition of the car. The car is a SOLID #3.....its not the 1,000 point trailer queen.....and its not a restoration project. Its a solid car that runs and drives, looks good, and is in great shape with a fresh engine that also is very strong. If you are looking for the show car that will never leave your garage, this is not the car for you. If you are looking for a nice car to drive and enjoy and take to your local car shows......then for the money that this car is listed at....you wont find a better option...especially for a limited build car such as this.I can assist with the shipping of the car....meaning I have some connections to some independent vehicle shippers that have nice, enclosed trailers....for a reasonable price. I can set everything up to where all you have to do is provide payment to the shipper directly....and the car will be at your door in a short period of time.If anyone wants a reference to speak to about the condition of the cars, or myself as an owner/seller/collector.....I can give you the name of some references if you want a second, third party, opinion. ADDED 11-4-13The car is going to get the vinyl top installed as of today. It will be completed in about 3-4 days. I am not going to revise the price of the vehicle for the duration of this listing. The top installation is going to cost about $1,000 all said and done so buy the car now....save as I am not revising the price...and by the time the transaction is complete, the car will have the new vinyl top inst
